Users may encounter the following error when trying to authorize a FortiAnalyzer in FortiManager.

In FortiManager, check the ADOM under: System Settings -> Advanced -> Misc Settings.

In general, Advanced ADOM mode allows VDOMs from the same FortiGate to be managed in separate ADOMs in FortiManager. However, FortiManager cannot manage a FortiAnalyzer if the ADOM mode is set to Advanced.

To manage FortiAnalyzer devices, make sure the ADOM mode is set to Normal. Before that, ensure no individual FortiGate VDOMs are assigned to an ADOM.
