Description	This article describes how to fix the issue after upgrade with the error message 'Fail(errno=-999):The string contains XSS vulnerability characters - prop[match]: string((AS#):1)'.
Scope	FortiManager.
Solution	The following error message is displayed when the customer tries to upgrade the ADOM root from v6.0 to v7.0: Fail(errno=-999):The string contains XSS vulnerability characters - prop[match]: string((AS#):1) Follow this command to reset the ADOM root: execute reset adom-settings root 7 Validate again, the issue is solved. Be careful, as a reset will clean out the ADOM and will set it back to default. For this to be done, remove first all the FortiGate managed in that ADOM.
