| Description | This article describes an issue where FortiManager and FortiManager-VM are unable to integrate FortiGate-VM. |
| Scope | FortiManager, VM, and FortiGate-VM. |
| Solution |
When integrating FortiManager and FortiGate, a pop-up error 'Unsupported device model' appears:
On the latest FortiManager firmware version (v7.4.7, v7.6.3, and onwards), a configuration has been added:
Bezza-kvm30 # config system global (global)# set fgfm-allow-vm (global)# set fgfm-allow-vm enable (global)# end
By default, the 'fgfm-allow-vm' is disabled. However, a managed device (in VM Mode ) that integrates FortiManager needs to enable the 'fgfm-allow-vm'.
After enabling the fgfm-allow-vm, refresh the FortiManager and add the FortiGate from the FortiManager. |
