Description
In a situation where a FortiManager configuration has been restored, it is not possible to add new devices. When clicking on the "Discovery" button, the following pop-up is displayed : "Failed to discover the device".

Solution
By default, after restoring a configuration, FortiManager is in "Offline Mode", and this has to be disabled in order to add new devices.
This can be disabled from the Web GUI: in System Settings --> Advanced --> Advanced Settings and check "Disable" on "Offline Mode".
