Description

This article describes the solution to enable FortiManager FortiSwitch Manager to edit FortiSwitch Ports.

Scope

FortiManager.

Solution

FortiManager FortiSwitch Manager is able to manage multiple FortiSwitch units.

However, FortiManager with ADOM enabled will not show the port after editing the FortiSwitch.

The 'View Ports' option will direct the FortiSwitch Ports GUI page without edit options:

In that case, go to System -> All ADOMS -> Edit ADOM Name -> Disable FortiSwitch in Central Management.

After this option is disabled, the user should able to edit each port in FortiSwitch Ports:

Note:

In the FortiSwitch Manager, 'double-click' the FortiSwitch to direct users to GUI pages for FortiSwitch Ports with an edit option. Refresh the Webpage if the changes are not reflected.

If users use FortiSwitch Manager -> 'Right-click' FortiSwitch -> Edit -> View Ports will not provide FortiSwitch Ports with the edit option.
