This article explains how the execution of CLI command 'unset status' on FortiGate interface does not synchronize changes over to FortiManager. (FortiManager version 6.2.0 GA build 1050)
On FortiManager, status of the managed FortiGate is in synchronize despite the difference in port status between them.
Solution
Temporary Workaround:
Do not use 'unset status' at FortiGate interface to bring up port.
Use 'set status up' instead.
Permanent Solution:
Upgrade FortiManager to version 6.2.1 GA or newer.
