Description This article describes a situation where the ‘Custom’ option cannot be selected from the Setup Firmware Upgrade when upgrading FortiGate from FortiManager.
Scope FortiManager v7.4.
Solution

When FortiGate is selected from FortiManager and ‘Firmware Upgrade’ is selected from ‘More’, the screen for executing a firmware upgrade is displayed.
To upgrade FortiGate, either ‘Firmware Template’ or ‘Custom’ can be selected. When using ‘Custom’, the firmware can be directly assigned to execute the upgrade.
