Description
This article describes that if a FortiGate has Global policies and is added to FortiManager, these Global policies are not imported into FortiManager during the import process.
Scope
FortiManager v6.4 and higher.
Solution
During the import process, a warning message appears: 'The global header/footer policies will not be imported'.
Global policy IDs are from 1073741825 for the header and from 1074741825 for the footer. In Device Manager, Dashboard/Summary/widget 'Configuration and Installation', open the latest configuration and there the Global Policies are visible but not imported.
Global policies should be managed in the Global database and assigned to ADOMs; where it can be assigned to all or some policies packages of the ADOM.
