Description

This article describes how to request FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer Cloud instance migration to a different FortiCloud account.

Scope

FortiManager Cloud/FortiAnalyzer Cloud.

Solution

In this example:

  • FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer Cloud deployed under 1616161/account-1 FortiCloud account.
  • New FortiCloud account is 2727272/account-2.

 

  1. During initial FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer Cloud deployment, the cloud instances are deployed under FortiCloud account: 1616161/account-1.

  1. Make sure all the assets, license & entitlement/contracts are moved to the new FortiCloud account: 2727272/account-2.

 

Note:

Users may raise a 'Customer Service' ticket if facing difficulties moving assets & licenses to a new FortiCloud account

  1. Raise a 'Technical Support' ticket with the subject title 'Resync FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer Cloud with New FortiCloud account' as an example and provide the following information:

 

Old FortiCloud account:

 

New FortiCloud account:

 

  1. The ticket/case engineer will verify and update the user once the FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer cloud instance has resynced with the new FortiCloud account.

  2. The user can verify it by accessing the FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer cloud instance via: FortiCloud (support.fortinet.com) -> Services -> FortiManager Cloud/FortiAnalyzer Cloud.
