| Solution |
1) Configure an FTP/TFTP server. A core FTP Server or a FileZilla Server can be used as an FTP server.
2) In FMG, create a script. Go to Device Manager -> Scripts -> Create New -> Script.
3) Edit the script as below:
Type: CLI Script. Script details: execute restore ips tftp/ftp <IPS engine (path) on the remote server> <ftp-server IP> <ftp username> <ftp password>
For example: execute restore ips ftp flen-fos6.2-5.238.pkg 10.0.1.20 ftpuser ftpuser
4) Choose the target devices and run the script:
Note: back up the old IPS engine in case a rollback is necessary.
