This article describes how to fix stuck tasks in the task monitor. Task monitor might show long-lasting tasks with %0 progress like below. These tasks cannot be deleted or completed.

| Solution |
This issue can be fixed by repairing the task Database with the below command:
diag dvm task repair
The above command requires FortiManager to reboot. In addition, before running the command make sure that there are no active operations in FortiManager. For example, another user trying to install a policy, etc.
After the completion of the reboot, there will be no long-lasting tasks with %0 progress similar to the above screenshot. This can be checked again via task monitor.
