Description This article describes how to synchronize a FortiGate cluster  in FortiManager HA widget, after a hardware replacement.
Scope FortiManager.
Solution

Once the replacement of the defective unit is made, make sure that both FortiGate devices are in HA Sync. On FortiManager, navigate to the Device Manager tab, and under Device & Group, select the managed cluster. In the HA Status widget, verify that the new secondary device appears 'Synchronized':

If it is not visible, select the 'Refresh' button:

If it is still not visible, the fgfm tunnel has likely not been established. To manually establish the fgfm tunnel, execute the following command in the FortiManager command line:

exec fgfm reclaim-dev-tunnel <device name>

The faulty FortiGate will remain on the FortiGate dashboard - HA widget with unknown status.

From the 'Device & Groups' section, select the master device, then select 'Edit' and remove the faulty unit from the HA section:
