Technical Tip: How to Install the FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer Debugger for Chrome in a closed environment (without internet access)

Description	This article explains how to install the FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer Debugger for Chrome in a PC working in a closed environment (Without Internet Access) for troubleshooting FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer issues.
Scope	PC with Google Chrome browser installed in a closed network environment
Solution	Download the FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer Debugger extension. On a PC with internet access:   • In the Google Chrome browser, download and install the extension 'CRX Extractor/Downloader': CRX Extractor/Downloader - Chrome Web Store. Download the Debugger extension as a ZIP archive. Open the link to the FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer Debugger on the Chrome Web Store: FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer Debugger - Chrome Web Store. Use the CRX Extractor/Downloader to download the extension as a .zip file. Transfer the Debugger ZIP file to the PC with an installed Google Chrome browser in a closed environment. Upload the downloaded .zip archive to the target PC in the closed environment and extract it. Open Chrome Extensions page in Google Chrome browser. Open Chrome and go to: chrome://extensions/ Enable Developer mode.   • In the top right corner, enable 'Developer mode'. Load the unpacked extension. Select 'Load unpacked' and navigate to the folder where the FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer Debugger files were extracted. Enable the extension.   • Make sure the FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer Debugger is switched to Enabled in the Chrome Extensions page. Result: The Debugger extension is now ready to use in the closed environment.
