Description This article describes the default GUI Theme for FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer which changed from Mariner to Jade after version 7.4.1 and above. Prior to version 7.4.1, the default theme is Mariner and in order to keep the consistency with FortiOS default theme, starting from version 7.4.1 and above, the default theme has changed to Jade.
Scope FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer version 7.4.1 and above.
Solution
  1. Prior to version 7.4.1, the default theme is Mariner.

  1.  For version 7.4.1 and above, the default theme is Jade:

  1. For the upgrade scenario where FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer is set with the configured theme e.g. Mariner or other, the configured theme will remain what it is on its last configured theme even if it is upgraded to v7.4.1 and above. For example, the current running version is 7.4.0 or 7.2.3 with the Mariner theme will be kept even if it has upgraded to v7.4.1.

 

  1. However, when you are in 7.4.1 due to an upgrade, the default theme will be changed to Jade when you do a factory reset.

  1. For a fresh install with version 7.4.1 and above, the default theme is always Jade.
