Technical Tip: Assigning SD-WAN template to multiple FortiGates with different interface name

Description
This article describes how to use the same SD-WAN template to assign to multiple FortiGates with different interface name.
Solution

1) Create new 'Device VDOM' meta fields at System Settings -> Advanced -> Meta Fields.

2) Insert a name for the meta field. Add the interface name for each of the FortiGate.

3) Go to Device Manager > Provisioning Templates > SD-WAN Templates and select 'Create New'. In the Interface Members section, select 'Create New' -> SD-WAN Member. Use the meta field created earlier.

4) After completed the configuration, assign the SD-WAN templates to the FortiGates.

5) Same can be apply go Gateway IP or other dynamic values.
