When checking on the cross-search log, it shows the '[Scan Notification]' is added in the email subject, such as the example below:
This is one of the features of CDR (Content Disarm and Reconstruction). When the 'Send notification' is enabled for Attachment handling for deferred emails, FortiMail will send a notification to the recipient if an email attachment is subjected to deferred scanning.
