Description

This article describes the causes of the Error: 'Test failed, FortiMail is not authorized' This error is associated with the autorization of FortiMail in FortiSandbox (Appliance or Enhanced Cloud).

Scope FortiMail, FortiSandbox (Appliance or Enhanced Cloud).
Solution

Check Authorization in the FortiSandbox.
It is necessary to validate the status of the authorization via GUI in the FortiSandbox:
Go to Security Fabric -> Device -> Search (In this case, Serial Number).

When a new device other than FortiClient registers, the user has to authorize it manually from the GUI.

After authorization, the status of the FortiSandbox in FortiMail is reviewed:
Go to System -> FortiSandbox ->Test Connection.
The status is: Connected successfully.
