Technical Tip: 'URL Click protection' exemption

Description	This article discusses the 'URL Click protection' exemption.
Scope	FortiMail v6.4 and above.
Solution	Go under Security -> URL Filter -> Exempt. Put in the domain name to exempt from 'URL Click protection'. For Example : 'domainname.com*'. In v7.2 onward, a local category called 'local-exempt' is created to replace the previous Exempt tab. Navigate under Security -> URL Filter -> Override Rating and select the '+New' button. Check under Security -> Disarm & Reconstruction -> URL. Make sure the URL rewrite is in the category that matches the domain. Test email using the other email domain to send test incoming email. Cross Search log before shows that https://mysapworkspace.DOMAINNAME.net has been exempt from the rule.
