Description This article describes how to avoid email delay and fix the session limit classifier in FortiMail if '[x.x.x.x: Exceeded 100 connections in 30 minutes.]' in the message log appears.

Solution

Below is the error which should appear in FortiMail History Log:

In order to Fix this issue:

  1. 'Right-click' and select Cross Search (Session) 60 minutes:

Refer to the last log message x.x.x.x IP: Exceeded 100 connections in 30 minutes:

 

     2. Verify the Policy matching for this email in the previous History Log:

This email matched IP policy ID:1.

     3. Go to the session profile configured in IP Policy ID:1 and modify the following settings to avoid email             delay:
