Technical Tip: How to configure FortiMail to bypass FortiSandbox Scanning for outbound email

Description	This article describes how to configure FortiMail to bypass FortiSandbox Scanning for outbound email.
Scope	FortiMail.
Solution	Go to FortiMail GUI -> Profile -> AntiVirus, and select the 'New' button to create a new  AntiVirus profile. Go to FortiSandbox > Make sure both "Attachment analysis" and "URL analysis" are disabled. Select 'Create' to create the new AntiVirus profile. Go to Policy -> Recipient Policy -> Outbound. Select the 'New' button to create a new Outbound Recipient Policy. Configure the specific sender or recipient if needed, and select the correct AntiVirus profile that was created from steps 1 – 3. Move the new Outbound Recipient Policy to the top of the existing policies so it will take effect as FortiMail will be scanning from top to bottom.
