Technical Tip: How to avoid automatic reply email detected as bounce verification in FortiMail

Description This article describes how to avoid automatic reply emails detected as bounce verification in FortiMail.
Scope FortiMail all firmware versions.
Solution
  1. Enable Bypass to bounce verification check-in session profile (IP Address):

  1. Exclude the sender from bounce verification (hostname):

  1. Exclude the recipient domain from bounce verification:

  1. Enable Bypass to bounce verification check in Domain setting:
