Solution |
FortiMail is used with NAS storage configuration where dovecot server is running on top NAS storage || dovecot-uidlist.lock. Email was stored externally.
Example of an issue experienced to load even from webmail.
Further checking on the Mail_Event_Log indicate below errors.
During the IMAP write operation, if FortiMail experience connectivity issue with NFS, the dovecot-uidlist.lock status will remain hence retrieving mailbox will not be possible.

Solution.
A reboot is require to clear the dovecot-uidlist.lock status. It is advisable to drop down to an older version of the NFS to NFSv3 instead of using the latest NFSv4 for more stable connection with FortiMail. |
