Description This article describes how to forward email to the Domain quarantine, not the System quarantine.
Scope

FortiMail v7.0 and above.

Solution

To verify if the FortiMail is performing the correct action, below steps need to be followed.

Note: Access to domain quarantine is restricted to FortiMail units with a valid advanced management license.

 

Step 1: Configure the Final action for either AntiSpam, AntiVirus, or Content profile correctly pointed to the Domain Quarantine.

Example: Configuration in AntiSpam final action.

Step 2: Assign the action configured in the profile.

Example: The action is assigned to the Banned Word action.

Step 3: Configure new recipient policy or edit existing policy and assign the previously configured profile in the recipient policy, as example below.
