Description This article describes how to change the FortiCloud account associated with a FortiMail device using the Dashboard → License Information section, as shown in the FortiMail GUI.

Solution

Steps to Change FortiCloud Account.

Step 1: Log in to the FortiMail GUI.

  • Log into the FortiMail web interface as an administrator.

Step 2: Navigate to the License Information Panel.

  • Go to: Dashboard -> Status.

  • In the License Information widget, locate the FortiCloud line (see example below):

Step 3: Log Out of Current FortiCloud Account.

  1. Select [Log Out...] next to the current FortiCloud email address.

  2. Wait a few seconds for deregistration to complete. 
  3. The FortiCloud entry will change to 'Not Activated[Activate...]'.

Step 4: Log In with a New FortiCloud Account.

  1. Select [Activate...], then enter the new FortiCloud account credentials.
  2. Complete the registration process.

  3. After a successful login, the new account email will appear in the FortiCloud row.
