Description | This article describes that VRF is not supported for IPv6. |
Scope | FortiOS versions below 7.0.x. |
Solution |
In FortiOS versions prior to 7.0.1, the IPv6 routing table does not show connected networks when VRF is enabled.
Adjacencies for Dynamic routing protocol such BGP, OSPF etc. may also fail.
Following is the interface configuration with VRF ID 1 and IPv6 address 2400:6d00:8000::1/27
The IPv6 network does not show under the routing table for connected networks but is listed in the kernel.
The remote end is reachable and can be confirm via ICMP.
The routing table is correct for IPv4 for the same interface.
Solution.
