Description

This article describes how to troubleshoot if some websites work in other browsers but not with Google Chrome with SSL Full inspection.

Scope

FortiGate.

Solution

To resolve this issue:

Make sure the FortiGate certificate is installed on the user's computer.
If the user uses a Public DNS server, then change the DNS server to 8.8.8.8 (Google public DNS server).

Note:

Using a public DNS server in FortiGate's DNS settings while using TLS as DNS Protocol, need to set 'server hostname'.
