Troubleshooting Tip: Troubleshooting the issue when the Botnet domain database only is not updated

Description	This article describes what should be checked when the Botnet domain database is not updated while other databases could be updated.
Scope	FortiGate.
Solution	Check the debug logs: diagnose debug application update -1 diagnose debug enable  execute update-now update_status_obj[731]-DBDB contract expiry=Mon Apr 10 09:00:00 2023 upd_install_pkg[1423]-DBDB001 is unauthorized Check product entitlements: Services -> ASSETS & ACCOUNTS -> Asset Management -> Products -> Product List -> FG101FTXXXXXXXXX -> Entitlement. It is expected behavior not to update the Botnet domain database if Advanced Malware Protection does not exist. Otherwise, contact technical support to investigate the update issue. The Advanced Malware Protection license is needed to update the Botnet domain database. Check what license entitlements are needed based on what databases are required, referring to FortiGate Subscriptions and FortiGuard Bundles.
