| Solution |
If having a VLAN interface with an IP address assigned to it as shown below:
It will not give the option to add this VLAN to a software switch:
To add it, it is necessary to remove all references from the VLAN and also remove the IP from the VLAN interface.
First, check the references. If going to Network -> Interfaces, it is possible to see the references on the Right side of the VLAN interface with a number on it:
Select the number, here the number is 2, and below are the references:
Select one of the references and then select ‘Delete’:
Select ‘Ok’ to delete the reference.
Next, remove the IP address from the VLAN interface and change it to 0.0.0.0/0:
After this, check the software switch again and it should be possible to add the VLAN interface:
