| Solution | While working on FortiGate 2600/2601F, confusion may occur regarding the LED light status of ports 1 through 16. If the bottom ports are connected and no cables are connected to top ports, an LED light would show up over the top ports. For example, port8 is connected and working, whereas no cable is connecting to port7. It will then be noticeable that an LED light over Port7 would be up, even though port7 is down. This is expected behavior in this model series. For ports from 1 to 16, bottom port LED and top port LED, both are positioned at left and right side of top port respectively.
