| Description |
This article describes how to resolve automation stitch which cannot be triggered. |
| Scope | FortiGate, Automation Stitches. |
| Solution |
Example: When configuring an automation stitch, multiple events are selected in one trigger. In this example, this results in certain events such as ‘threat feed update failed’ not increasing the trigger count. In turn, the action configured will not be activated. Actions such as an email alert to inform the admin that 'threat feed update failed' will not activate.
Resolve this by configuring one event per trigger. The trigger will activate, which will increase the trigger count. In turn, actions such as an email alert to inform the admin that the 'threat feed update failed' will trigger successfully.
Verification: A single event trigger has worked, and an action to inform the admin via email has taken place.
