Description

This article describes how to verify FortiGate settings towards the FortiSwitch.

Scope

Solution

If FortiLink is not coming up, it is necessary to verify a few settings on the FortiGate:

Verify if CAPWAP is enabled on the Firewall interface connecting to the FortiSwitch: Configuring the FortiGate interface to manage FortiAP units.

Verify if the NTP is enabled on the correct interface: Technical Tip: FortiSwitch device unable to get online on FortiGate Managed Fortiswitch GUI Menu.

Verify settings on the FortiSwitch side: Configuring FortiLink - FortiLink documentation.
