| Description | This article describes an issue when FortiGate GUI prompts a memory alert while viewing forward traffic logs from FortiAnalyzer and FortiCloud as a source after upgrading to 7.4.4 and 7.6.0. |
| Scope | FortiGate 7.4.4 and 7.6.0. |
| Solution |
This issue may be caused by a bug detected in 7.4.4 and 7.6.0, where FortiGate GUI is not able to display the Forward Traffic logs, keeping them loading and eventually providing notification about Memory even though the Forward Traffic log location is set to a different source such as FortiCloud and FortiAnalyzer.
The notification message uses the device in the response, but in case there is no response yet, it uses the default value which is memory.
To help verify the behavior matches this bug, open a Support Case Ticket and share the Fortinet Support Tool Capture file output.
The issue is categorized as a cosmetic issue for log viewers. The logs should still be available and viewable using the FortiCloud Page and FortiAnalyzer. This issue is fixed in v7.4.5 and 7.6.1. |
