Description This article describes a situation where users experience a white or non-responsive screen after logging into the FortiGate Cloud portal.
Scope FortiGate.
Solution

As described in the official documentation, remote access to FortiGate devices is supported only on v7.0.14, v7.2.8, v7.4.2, v7.6.0, and above. Devices running older firmware versions, for example, v7.2.7 or earlier, are not accessible via the FortiCloud portal for remote management/access.

 

Issue: If a white screen appears without any error, this means that the device is not on the proper firmware OS version.

 

Solution: Upgrade to:

  • v7.6.0 and later versions.
  • v7.4.2 and later versions.
  • v7.2.8 and later versions.
  • v7.0.14 and later versions.

 

Note:

This feature comes with limitations; it is read-only for free, and to use it with read and write capabilities requires a subscription.
