Description This article describes an issue where the PoE column of FortiSwitch Ports fails to display the actual power drawn by connected PoE devices, and instead shows the error message 'Failed to load value'.
Scope FortiGate v7.6.3.
Solution

When a PoE-capable device is connected to a FortiSwitch port and drawing power, the PoE column may display 'Failed to load value' instead of the correct power consumption on the interface. This behavior persists even after an HA failover.
This is a GUI cosmetic issue only. PoE functionality is not impacted, and connected devices continue to receive power normally.

  • v7.6.4 (available to download from the Fortinet support portal).
