| Solution |
After having entered the user details in the guest captive portal for user creation, on the subsequent attempt made to log in to the captive portal using the already created user credentials.
Even if the credentials are correct, this error occurs because of a wrongly configured access point IP address or subnet.
Solution: Configure the access point as below : Navigate to Authentication -> Portal -> Access point:
Configure the Correct IP address, and if a subnet is required to be configured, select the subnet.
After creating an access point, configure it in the policy.
Navigate to Portals -> Policies -> Authorized client:
After adding the correct access point, the user should be able to authenticate successfully, and can be verified by following the commands.
diagnose firewall auth list
Here is the sample output:
diagnose firewall auth list 10.199.17.129, test
