This article describes the actions to take if the Device View option on FortiGate Cloud is not available.
FortiGate Cloud.
When viewing traffic or event logs on FortiGate Cloud, select the device serial number under Assets, then select Device View to go to the device page.
If a scenario arises where the Device View option is not available, check if the FortiGate is running with the latest supported firmware version. If the FortiGate is still running a firmware version that has already reached the End of Support (EOS) date, the Device View option will not be available. The only available option will be Upgrade Firmware.
To regain access to the Device View option, upgrade the FortiGate to the supported firmware version. Verify the End of Support (EOS) dates from the Product Life Cycle page.
After the firmware upgrade, the red warning icon will no longer be present and the Device View option should now be available.
If the upgrade cannot be performed immediately, another option is to switch to the old layout for the time being until the upgrade can be performed.
To switch to the old layout on FortiGate Cloud:
After switching back to the old layout, select the device serial number and Analysis to go to the device page.
There is a toggle option for Layout at the top of the FortiGate Cloud page if the desire is to switch back to the new layout.
Note:
The option to switch back to the old layout has already been removed on the latest version of FortiGate Cloud.
