Description This article describes why it is not possible to sort Firewall Addresses in 7.4.X or 7.6.X.
Scope FortiGate in 7.4 or above.
Solution

In 7.2 or earlier, it was possible to sort alphabetically addresses under Policy & Objects -> Firewall Addresses:

After the upgrade to a 7.4 release, this is no longer possible.

Notice that in the screenshots below, there are no 'up'/'down' arrows to sort next to the columns headers, while they were available in 7.2.

In 7.6:

This is intended behavior. The way Firewall Addresses are loaded has changed to enhance performance, but the new method does not support sorting.
In order to look for a specific Firewall Address, searching and column filtering options are still available.
