Description	This article describes license/seat allocation to the user in FortiVoice hosted behind the FortiGate to register a FortiFone application.
Scope	When FortiVoice is behind the FortiGate.
Solution	To register a FortiFone or softphone application extension to FortiVoice hosted behind the firewall, it is important to allocate a license. Step 1: Log in to the FortiVoice dashboard using admin credentials. Step 2: Go under Extension-> IP extension-> Device Setting-> License Allocation and enter the number of seat allocations. Note: Depending upon the application to be used on different devices. For eg, If the user wants to use the FortiFone application on a desktop and personal PC, the number of license allocations will be 2.
