Description |
This article describes that the Session CPU is an indicator of the number of sessions handled by the CPU. |
Scope | FortiGate. |
Solution |
The per-session logging on FortiGate enables one to identify the number of sessions handled by CPU, SPU, or NTurbo (in case the device supports NTurbo). This value is expressed in the percentage of sessions handled by each.
In case a 100% value against the CPU is observed in the session widget, this indicates that the CPU is handling all the sessions on the firewall/VDOM currently. This does not mean that the CPU utilization for the unit has reached 100%.
The percentage value indicates how much percentage of the total sessions on the unit are currently handled by the CPU, SPU, or NTurbo.
