| Solution |
When trying to register FortiSwitch from the FortiGate, the fields like countries or reseller do not populate, preventing FortiSwitch registration.
When running the https debug commands, the following error is seen:
diagnose debug application httpsd -1
[httpsd 3496 - 1644506914 error] build_license_forticare_resellers[1240] -- Failed to get reseller list: http_error_code:[0]
This happens if there is an issue with FortiGuard Anycast reachability. Disable the Anycast and try again:
config system FortiGuard end
Alternatively, register from the CLI as follows:
diagnose forticare direct-registration product-registration -N <FAP/FSW-serialnumber> -a <username> -p <password> -T "<country>" -R "reseller" -e 1
