Description	This article describes an issue when importing the physical token seed file into FortiGate and getting the 'Seed Import Failed' error.
Scope	FortiGate v7.6.3, v7.6.4.
Solution	This is a GUI issue with FortiOS v7.6.3 and v7.6.4. It is planned to be fixed in FortiOS v7.6.5 and v8.0.0. As a workaround, upload the seed file via FTP or TFTP. execute fortitoken import ftp <file name> <ftp server>[:ftp port] <Enter>|<user> <passwd> execute fortitoken import tftp <file name> <tftp server> The Seed Import Failed error does not indicate an issue with the token file itself, but rather a web-based management interface bug in these specific FortiOS builds.
