Description
If error occurs when connection progress is at 98%, a popup window will show the status code of the tunnel thread (T), monitor thread (M) and RAS thread (R).
The status code could either indicate the stage the thread is currently at, or an error code.

This article describes this error.


Solution
The IP range for the VPN SSL is too short, cannot allocate any more IPs to the FortiClient

Other possible issues and Error codes with possible user action:

-981032010: unknown or deprecated TLS protocol check FGT and client side SSL protocol setting
-981032050: failed to create openssl context none
-981032080: certificate/key error none
-981033010: unknow DTLS protocol check FGT and client side SSL protocol setting
-981035010: internal error, failed to create certain event object none
-981015010-50: internal error, failed to create certain event objects none
-981011001: daemon failed to communicate with driver check whether driver installed properly
-981062010: daemon failed to open data socket connection to FGT need to investigate together with FGT
-981063010: daemon failed to connect to FGT through proxy check proxy setting
-981066010: daemon failed to establish SSL conenction to FGT need to investigate together with FGT, possible cause is login timeout, increase login_timeout value on FGT
-981083010: failed to open inbound data handle to driver check whether driver installed properly
-981084010: failed to open outbound data handle to driver check whether driver installed properly

(The following only apply when old PPP WAN driver is used, check whether telephony service is enable and/or whether the driver is installed properly).

-983020010: RasGetEntryDialParams() failed
-983030000: RasDial() failed
