This article describes the support and detection of UDP-Lite protocol in FortiOS.

Solution
UDP Lite is defined by RFC 3828, and in FortiOS it can be detected with Application Control. Starting with v7.6.0 additional support for UDP Lite protocol has been implemented (and new config commands). Additional documentation and options about setting up routing and policies can be found here.
Important Note:
UDP Lite traffic offload to NP6/NP7 is currently not supported.
