Description | This article describes why the SSL VPN widget may not load correctly and provides a solution to resolve the issue. |
Scope | FortiGate v7.4.x. |
Solution |
When the SSL VPN widget is selected but fails to load any information, as illustrated in the image below:
This issue can occur when there are numerous custom widgets on the dashboard. The dashboard allows users to add various widgets, and when the GUI is accessed, FortiGate retrieves historical data (such as activity from the past 24 hours) for these widgets. This ongoing background process can consume significant memory resources. If FortiGate’s memory usage is high, it may result in loading issues for the SSL VPN widget.
To resolve this, remove any widgets with dynamic content (like sessions, CPU, and memory) and also the SSL VPN widget.
Afterward, re-add the SSL VPN widget, and it should load correctly.
