Technical Tip: SSL VPN password save and auto connect

Description	This article describes how to configure FortiGate to save and auto-connect to the SSL.
Scope	FortiGate v6.4 or above.
Solution	To configure this from GUI, go to VPN -> SSL-VPN Portal and select the portal for which the password should be saved. To configure this from CLI, use the below command: config vpn ssl web portal     edit [portal_name_str]         set auto-connect enable         set save-password enable end Note: The Auto Connect feature is not supported in the free version, and the following error will prompt for non-license accounts: A separate FortiClient/FortiClient EMS license is needed to take advantage of this feature.
