Description
This article describes a new option on FortiOS 6.2 that is a built-in speed test or bandwidth monitoring service.
It is included in the 360 Protection Bundle license.
Scope
FortiGate.
Solution
This tool is used to test upload and download bandwidth towards the FortiCloud speed test service.
The test is limited: it can only be run ten times daily. This prevents abuse of the service.
To download the speed test server list, run the following command:
execute speed-test-server download
Download completed.
To check the speed test server list:
execute speed-test-server list
