Description |
This article describes that after upgrading to FortiOS 7.4.0, FortiGate introduces the ability to create a route tag (route-tag) firewall address object.
This object can include IPv4 or IPv6 addresses associated with a BGP route tag number and is dynamically updated with BGP routing updates.
To create a route tag in the CLI, refer to the following document Add route tag address objects.
However, this option does not appear in the GUI under Network -> Address.

Scope | FortiOS 7.4. |
Solution |
To make the route tag firewall address object feature visible in the GUI, enable the following option in the CLI:
config system settings set gui-route-tag-address-creation enable end
After enabling this option, refresh the web GUI, and the route tag option will become available.
