Description This article describes how to fix the 'Max Session Reached' message.

Solution

One of the reasons the FSSO users' information is not being sent to FortiGate or the Monitored DCs list is empty, could be due to the message 'Max Session Reached' that is observed in FSSO agent debug logs. 

 

This issue can be resolved by increasing the Maximum FortiGate connections in the FSSO agent as per the following:

If using FortiAuthenticator as a Collector Agent, check the FSSO users or FortiClient Workstation users for it. This is found under Dashboard -> Status.
