Technical Tip: Removing License Expired Notifications on FortiGate Dashboard

Description	This article discusses how to remove the expired notifications on the FortiGate Dashboard.
Scope	FortiGate.
Solution	When a license expires, three places will notify it: The dashboard. The bell notification. FortiGuard. Under to Dashboard -> Status -> Licenses Widget: The bell Notification: Under System -> FortiGuard: It is possible to remove some of the expiry notifications such as IPS, Antivirus, DLP, OT, SD-WAN, and Web Filters from the Dashboard by disabling the features under Feature Visibility. As an example, to remove the web filter license, navigate to System -> Feature Visibility and uncheck Web Filter. After removing this feature, the Web Filter license no longer provides a warning in the Dashboard: The bell notifications and FortiGuard expiry notifications will continue to appear and cannot be removed starting from v5.6.0 and onward.
