This article describes how to fix the 'No server found for update' error when trying to connect to the FortiGuard Server. |
| Scope | FortiGate. |
| Solution |
'No server found for update' error when trying to connect to the FortiGuard Server.
In this example, the set type of connection is none, and include-default-servers are disabled. With this setup, the FortiGuard is unable to connect to any default server.
If FortiManager is in use to connect to FortiGuard Server, the set type should be FortiManager; if FortiManager is not part of the setup, the set type can be FortiGuard or none.
When the set type is FortiGuard:
config system central-management end
When set type is none, include-default-servers must be enabled:
config system central-management set mode normal set type none set include-default-servers enable end
To use type FortiGuard or none, make sure that set cloud-communication is set to enable under the global settings config system global
Output after update: FortiGate can connect and update to the FortiGuard Server.
